The NICB National Insurance Crime Bureau has released their Hot Wheels report for 2013. For 2013, the most stolen vehicles in the nation are:
- Honda Accord – 53,995 stolen
- Honda Civic – 45,001
- Chevy Full Size Pickup – 27,809
- Ford Full Size Pickup – 26,494
- Toyota Camry – 14,420
- Dodge Full Size Pickup – 11,347
- Dodge Caravan – 10,911
- Jeep Cherokee/Grand Cherokee – 9,272
- Toyota Corolla – 9,010
- Nissan Altima – 8,892
The good news is, overall car thefts are down to their lowest point since 1967 and down 50% since 1991.
